Kirby must go to Planet Skyhigh and reach the room with the Parasol Waddle Dee and Parasol Waddle Doo, entering from the door on the right. Kirby must then use either Copy's Analyze Beam to get Parasol from the Parasol Waddle Doo and hit it with the parasol's active hitbox or throw a bomb at it with the Bomb ability. In order for the glitch to work, the Waddle Doo must land on the middle platform after getting hit and losing its Parasol. If done correctly, the now parasol-less Waddle Doo will start moving at much higher speeds than usual and will build up even more speed over time until it eventually falls through the middle of the room.[2]
Kirby needs to go to planet Mekkai, and spawn a helper. Once Kirby and the helper get to the room with the wind, go to the left of that room, and the helper should begin walking against the wind, then turn left and right at a speed comparable to the Waddle Doo involved in the above Hyper Waddle Doo glitch. The helper will then do a normal attack, slide back, walk forward, face left and right quickly, repeat. This may not work with every helper.[3]
The Wishes And The Glitch Zip

This glitch can only be performed in the Japanese version of the game. While using the Wing ability, if Kirby takes damage from a high-knockback source such as an enemy bomb or Gordo while in the process of canceling a Dive-Bomb attack, and stays airborne for long enough while in the hurt animation, he will suddenly gain tremendous upward speed, and be able to pass through solid objects like walls and ceilings. While moving upward in this state, Kirby can maintain it by using Feather Gun or stop it early by flapping his wings. This glitch is extremely useful for performing skips in tool-assisted speedruns. It can be performed in Peanut Plains and Mallow Castle in the Dyna Blade game mode, in Old Tower in The Great Cave Offensive, and in Hotbeat and Halfmoon in Milky Way Wishes.[5][6]
In Meta Knightmare Ultra, Meta Knight is capable of performing a variation of the Wing zip in Hotbeat. After Meta boosting upwards, Meta Knight must take damage, causing him to fall onto and into the otherwise solid lava. However, this version of the glitch has fewer practical uses.[4]
Ever since it was first discovered, the so-called Zip Glitch in Elden Ring allowed speedrunners to quickly complete the game. The Zip Glitch is a bug that, when performed correctly, allows you to cover huge distances in the game world, and bypass and essentially sequence break the entire game. However, getting this to work is no small feat, as you will need to both understand how this glitch works, as well as what you need to do in order to replicate it on your own system. That is why we are going to take a look at the Zip Glitch and have it explained in Elden Ring.
Cancel the Bomber Heading using A, then get severely hurt by an object (e.g. Gordos). Kirby shouldn't touch the ceiling or floor instantly, or the glitch won't work. You'll pass through walls vertically. Sometimes you go up, and sometimes you go down. You can press Y to shoot feathers to extend the zip.
As spotted by DualShocker (opens in new tab), speedrunner Hazeblade recently shared a video of an Elden Ring run that only took 24 minutes and 37 seconds. According to Hazeblade, that's the first time on record that anyone has completed the game in under 25 minutes. Apparently, the key to their success is this new zipping glitch which essentially lets you teleport around certain points on the map. The glitch was discovered and shared almost two weeks ago on Reddit (opens in new tab), with users accurately predicting it could upend the speedrunning scene.
Distortion2 had been working on the Any% Unrestricted Speedrun category of Elden Ring for a while, perfecting a technique called the zip glitch. Listed in the YouTube video's description, Distortion2 describes the glitch as needing to be blocking, holding the walk key, and pressing W. These all need to be frame perfect, or as Distortion2 describes it, "double frame perfect", or it will not work.
Distortion2 has massively cut their time using the zip glitch and lots of practice. Perhaps with more players seeing these new strategies and evolving others, there will be faster ways of beating the game in the future.
In 2014, then-Senator Al Franken introduced the Family Coverage Act, which would have adjusted the law so that the affordability test would be applied to the entire premium that a worker must pay for family coverage, not just employee-only coverage. The bill never progressed beyond committees though, and lawmakers seemed hesitant to fix the family glitch, given the additional burden it would place on the taxpayer-funded subsidy program.
Hillary Clinton proposed fixing the family glitch as part of her 2016 presidential campaign, but she lost the election and Congress remained under GOP control after the 2016 elections. Various pieces of legislation have been introduced in Congress in the last few years to fix the family glitch, but none of them have been enacted.
However, the Biden administration has fixed the family glitch via the rulemaking process, as described above. The downside to this approach is that it could be undone by a future administration via another round of rulemaking. But the upside is that some of the people currently caught by the family glitch could have more affordable coverage options as soon as 2023.
And the impact of the family glitch fix will also vary from state to state, since the cost of health coverage varies by area. A recent multi-state analysis by Third Way found that in most states, total premium savings would be significant for a household earning 200% of the poverty level, and much less significant at 300% of the poverty level. And at 400% of the poverty level, none of the scenarios they examined would result in an overall premium savings under the proposed fix.
My MBP (8,2) Early 2011 succumbed to the faulty graphics problem sometime in 2015, but remained relatively useful with only occasional glitchy graphics. Little squares sprinkled over the screen sometimes followed by a system freeze. But a simple reboot always solved the problem. I installed the gfxCardStatus app to help manage the problem.
Apple replaced the motherboard and the graphics problems disappeared. Until about a month ago. I started noticing very minor glitches that assured me I was in for the same problems once again. It appears that the replacement motherboard now has a failing graphics chip.
After gaining access, a timelock will begin at 3:00 or 2:30, or 2:30 or 2:00 with time lock glitch asset. Shortly after the time lock is started, a GenSec dispatcher will call the phone in the manager's office. The players must answer, similar to GO Bank. If the dispatcher is convinced by the response Bain gives, nothing further will happen. However, sometimes the dispatcher will not be convinced by the phone response and will send two officers to investigate the unscheduled timelock activation. The chance that the dispatcher sends officers is determined by the number of civilians killed, starting at 0% and increasing by 4% for each dead civilian.[1] Additionally, Bain often warns of elevators approaching the player's floor. Two-thirds of the time an additional guard will spawn in one of these elevators.
As a last resort, force quitting the game may help net achievements that remain elusive due to lack of skills and/or luck. A save game is generated whenever one exits a game to the menu or at the start of a new level. If one wishes to go back to the last save game, force quit the game (Force Quit on OS X, End Task on Windows, home button and then close the app on consoles) and then restart the game. The continue option will light up and then your last save game will be restored. Aside from helping with Achievements, this is useful if you want to reverse negative pill effects, exploit coin donation, find the quickest way through the level after doing a "test run", etc... 2ff7e9595c
